A beautiful afternoon on the river.....

Cody decided he wanted to go on a boating trip. I told him that if he helped me get some stuff done Saturday morning that we could go in the afternoon. We were up bright and early. I sprayed weeds and Cody pulled weeds out in the yard. After lunch we loaded up the boat and headed out. Shane (Cody's friend from down the street) and Queenie rounded our adventurous group.



We headed to a little island about 2 miles upriver.



The boys made a campfire and we cooked hot dogs.



The boys swam, tossed a football and just goofed around. We headed home about 7:00 p.m.
It was an awesome afternoon on the river!
